Science Curriculum Alignment Process

This model is designed to assist schools to utilize science standards if they wish to align their existing curriculum with standards or to apply standards to a new curriculum under consideration for adoption. The beginning place is Standards in the middle of the model. If you have an existing curriculum that you wish to align, begin with Individual Teacher Analysis and follow the arrows upward. If you are considering the adoption of a new curriculum, begin by measuring your choice options against the standards and follow the arrows downward.
