Project AERO Science Standards Project AERO (American Education Reaches Out) is a collaborative project of the Near East South Asia Council of Overseas Schools (NESA) and the Council for Basic Education (CBE). It's goal is to provide a framework of academic standards appropriate for American schools overseas. The standards are based on CBE's Standards of Excellence. The science standards are divided into 4 major areas; Scientific Inquiry, The Physical Setting, The Living Environment, and Human Organisms and Society. The standards are further subdivided into objectives for Grades 2, 5, 8, and 12. Project AERO Science Standards
